Speed dating - part 1
Last night I started investigating this speed dating phenomena. How does it work? Do you just turn up? I discovered there are quite a few out there. Some of you might think that is a good thing but my antenna went up immediately. Because if there were many, it means there are also many sleazy ones. For example, sugardaddies host speed dating events, cougarswanted hosts events. After the initial chuckles and coupled with the knowledge that I'm not patient enough to be researching all of them I decided to go with my guts. The one that looked the most professional. That decided I settled for speeddater.co.uk. It ticked all the advertising boxes: it had a name that tells the customer what they do, the first page was inviting, there weren't any hidden messages, and I got what I needed in the first couple of clicks.
Did you know there are all kinds of different events? There are events for normal people, college graduates, international professionals, professionals, religion and ethnicity. The options! To which one should I go. The professional event is double the price as for the normal event. Do I want to go to one that at least promises to have a level of intelligence? Or should I go to the one that will give me at least a couple of weirdos to spice up the blog?
What a dilemma ...
