Quest to Wimbledon

Yes, I can watch it on TV and Yes, I have been before but if you have never been you won't understand the energy and the delight in being at Wimbledon watching the balls go flying by. This year I said i wanted to go twice, once in the first week and again the second week. So I've started my quest last weekend.
I don't queue. I don't want to queue. I feel I should be able to get tickets the normal way and not stand for hours begging to be let in. It is the British way, but I am not British. Again, one of those statements I made that might just come back to bite me. I am still not queueing but I will be passing by looking to see if I could maybe just walk in.
Murray Mania is driving me crazy. It's like a flu virus; people who don't care about tennis suddenly find it extremely essential that they go to Wimbledon making it impossible for me to get tickets. So I try to avoid Murray days, unfortunately that means avoiding Nadal this year. Shame! And on top of all that, the Queen decides this year is the year she absolutely must go to Wimbledon. It's like the Forces are ganging up on me.
So this is the plan: I leave work early ... get to Wimbledon. Two years ago the stupid District Line developed a signal problem, which basically means someone needs to change the light bulb, and it took me hours to get to the stadium. This year I will be smart, I have a plan B: the BUS. At Wimbledon I will find a way in even if it is a ground ticket. My major dilemma is now, the Federer match of the Djokovic match. For most of you this would actually turn out into a major brain buster but not for me. I am going to watch the Federer match and send bad vibes to him. He nearly got knocked out in the first round, so why not the second round instead?

Anyway, keep your fingers crossed .... I'm going in!
