Kicking puppies is ok, kicking dogs is not

Interesting discussion I had yesterday regarding cheating. According to the males involved there is a difference between cheating on a girlfriend or cheating on a wife. Apparently the level of commitment between the two excuses the infidelity. Commitment towards a girlfriend is different from commitment towards a wife.
The warped logic of a male mind never ceases to amaze me. There are so many things wrong with this particular one, I don't even know where to start. Let me start with the girlfriend and wife issue. Less commitment to girlfriend than to wife? Do they not realize that without full commitment at the start, they will never get to the wife stage to begin with.
Let's say they progress through the relationship and get bored (for argument's sake we will assume that the reason for cheating is boredom) and cheat, or if it makes you feel better, they slipped and fell on a kitten, this girlfriend than by definition can never become a wife because that would mean they would have cheated on their wives.
Another point, being a girlfriend/boyfriend is like an extensive interviewing process for the husband position. So if you already start out a lousy no-gooder, how will you ever make it to the husband stage?
Do I have to go on pointing out all the mistakes in the above belief?
Before I leave this topic, let me just point out that women also cheat. We are just better at deceit. I mean we tricked Adam, didn't we?

I added a new item to the list. Take pictures with 10 celebrities. Celebrity 10: Las t Friday we went to Jamie's new restaurant in Covent Garden. Standing there looking at the menu, I saw Gennaro. I've seen him on Saturday Kitchen before and remembered him because he said he didn't cook with olive oil; he only uses it for salads because it burns faster. Or so I remembered. The Life of a Celebrity

I made the papers. Not once ... but twice! Yes y'all, my name and picture are in the newspapers and I didn't even have to commit a crime for it. All I had to do is my job. Alone in the Office ...

Sitting alone in the office makes my mind wander. Maybe I have an active imagination, maybe have read too many books, maybe I have watched too much internet entertainment. I'm here working late, got to be ready for the holidays, right? Everyone has already gone home, Christmas shopping or just out having fun. Me? I am here enjoying some Ne-Yo ... One in a miiilllion parapapa. That boy is good. Even my Miss Independent self got to admit that he does make me go ooooohhh haaaaaa. Sitting alone in the office makes my mind wander. I start to think about hunky cleaners coming in after hours or an IT geek working long hours not realizing there is another person in the building. He makes himself comfortable .... really comfortable. See the air-conditioning can get very cold if you have been sitting in it for hours.
